{"id":188,"date":"2023-09-08T15:01:26","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T07:01:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.macao-accountant.com\/accountant\/?p=188"},"modified":"2023-12-21T12:22:30","modified_gmt":"2023-12-21T04:22:30","slug":"social-security-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.macao-accountant.com\/accountant\/en\/2023\/09\/08\/social-security-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Security Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>All employers in Macao are required to pay a monthly Social Security Fund for each resident employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contribution amounts to Social Security Fund are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local long-term employee:<br>MOP90 per month (employer\u2019s contributions: MOP60, employee\u2019s contributions: MOP30).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local casual worker:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>MOP90 per month for each casual worker who works 15 days or more in the month<br>(employer\u2019s contributions: MOP60, employee\u2019s contributions: MOP30);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MOP45 per month for each casual worker who works less than 15 days in the month (employer\u2019s contributions: MOP30, employee\u2019s contributions: MOP15).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The employer can deduct the employee\u2019s portion of contributions from his\/her wages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding nonresident employees, employers are required to make monthly contributions of MOP200 for each employee.
